• Justice and Rule of Law
The section on justice aims to highlight practical linkages between the different components of the justice sector and the normative framework of human rights.  Access to justice supports and is supported by, a human rights-based approach: access to justice is a fundamental right in and of itself as well as a key means to defend other rights.  A human rights-based approach enhances accountability mechanisms and processes through which rights themselves are protected (e.g the justice system).
