  • Dignity and Justice for All of Us: Stories from National Human Rights Institutions in Europe and the CIS. (+)

    Eight country-level case studies are presented to illustrate the national human rights institutions in these CIS states and their contributions to the protection of human rights. The articles highlight the potential for contributions that can be made by national human rights institutions through building networks between regions, organizations, and nations. It discusses the constructive role played by national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights, in particular their advisory capacity and their role in remedying human rights violations, in the dissemination of human rights information, and in education in human rights.

    The publication features case studies of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine.
